Emmanuel Valery, MD, is a board-certified internist at LaSante Health Center in the Prospect Lefferts Gardens area of Brooklyn. Dr. Valery diagnoses and treats chronic illnesses, offers preventative and primary care, and provides excellent treatments for patients in New York City with cardiovascular, digestive, respiratory, circulatory or other chronic health issues.
Dr. Valery was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, and has been in the medical field for over three decades. He immigrated to New York, where he received his Bachelor of Science from Long Island University in New York City. Dr. Valery then completed his Doctor of Medicine at The Universidad del Noreste (UNE) School of Medicine in Tampico, Mexico. He went on to finish his residency in internal medicine at Kings County Hospital and completed the prestigious Fifth Pathway program for the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, both in New York City.
Serving the community for years, Dr. Valery was the medical director at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, the CEO of Bedford Medical Group, and practiced at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, Kings County Hospital and the Bronx Lebanon Special Care Center, all in New York City.
Dr. Valery leads several community service and outreach initiatives and is a member of the NOAH NY, a not-for-profit organization that helps provide free health care to residents of Haiti. He has received numerous awards for his efforts.
As an immigrant and multilingual in English, Haitian Creole, French, and Spanish, Dr. Valery is passionate about serving diverse patients at LaSante Health Center. He brings years of medical knowledge to provide quality internal medicine care.
Dr. Valery is a member of the American Medical Association, Asclepius Medical Society, and certified by The American Board of Internal Medicine.
